Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on meaningful and challenging cases within a supportive, client focused firm.
Your role
You will manage your own caseload of care proceedings, working closely with clients, colleagues and external agencies to deliver excellent outcomes. You will also support the wider team by mentoring junior staff and contributing to the department’s continued growth.
Running care related cases allocated by the Head of Department/Partners
Ensuring client work is progressed efficiently with clear communication on costs and progress
Advocating for clients in court and at key meetings
Supervising and developing junior colleagues as agreed with the Head of Department
Maintaining strong professional relationships with social services, guardians and other organisations
Time recording, billing and credit control for your matters
Ensuring compliance with all SRA rules and regulatory requirements
Supporting marketing and business development initiatives

Be a qualified solicitor with proven experience in family care law
Be a member of the Childcare Panel
