Key Responsibilities (QC):
• Quality control testing of raw materials and portfolio products
• Maintenance of quality control filing system and record keeping
• Completion of customer paperwork e.g. certificates of analysis
• Calibration of laboratory equipment/ daily maintenance tasks
• Complaint investigations
• Production issues
• Raw material evaluations
• Preparation of samples for account managers
• Maintenance and compilation of product specifications
• Customer support with respect to current product portfolio
• Technical support for Sales team with respect to current product portfolio
• Sample retention in line with ACC Quality Manual
• Stock control of laboratory consumables
• Organisation of laboratory equipment servicing
• Disposal of expired quality control samples
• Maintaining good laboratory practice and general housekeeping duties
• Compliance with Company procedures
Eventual NPD-type Responsibilities might include:
• NAP technical work
• Product analysis to assist in the development of new products
• To develop and formulate new products to meet customer requirements and deadlines
• Competitor analysis
• Preparation of customer prototype samples, compilation of quality control parameters and specification with performance and stability testing
• Work closely with Sales Team to define new product requirements
• Liaison with suppliers to evaluate new raw materials and determine their feasibility for further development
• Write technical reports to document development work
