About Us
Cadarn Housing Group is the parent of the Group and provides oversight and support services role. Newydd Housing Association is a charitable housing association, that offers nearly 3,000 affordable homes for rent and sale to people where need is at its greatest in Mid and South Wales, working in several local authority areas. Cadwyn Housing Association owns and manages 3,000 homes for affordable rent and low-cost home ownership as well as a range of community regeneration initiatives.

About the role
As Building Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the operational delivery of all building maintenance services within our Property Services Team. This includes planned works, void property refurbishments, responsive repairs, and estate services including cleaning. You will ensure services are delivered efficiently, safely, and to high standards of customer satisfaction, while maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

As Building Maintenance Manager you will lead a team of supervisors and operatives, driving performance, quality, and continuous improvement to achieve service excellence and value for money. You will also handle escalated customer complaints, resolve issues promptly, while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About you
You will need significant and proven experience in managing high performing building maintenance operations preferably within a social housing or similar environment. You should also have a great understanding and knowledge of planned, void and responsive work processes, health and safety legislation and CDM, and strong experience of budget management and cost control.
