About you and this role

The Packaged Site Logistics Technician is responsible for safe, efficient and accurate loading, unloading, preparation, packaging and movement of packaged raw materials, final product and waste across the site. Working together with wider Site Logistics and Operations teams, the Packaged Site Logistics Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the daily operational priorities of the site are fulfilled.

Application of a diverse range of technical skills to operate various equipment and tools is required, as is an eye for detail to ensure strict adherence to internal controls. A commitment to safety and operational excellence are also critical attributes of the role.

The Packaged Site Logistics Technician supports both Material Flow (Site Logistics/Logistics) and Make Product (Operations) Work Processes; therefore, the role requires the ability to be organized, prioritize and coordinate daily requirements and to work collaboratively with others.



Responsibilities

Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport raw materials, packaging items, finished goods, and waste while ensuring safety, legal compliance, and accurate transaction recording.
Equipment Operation: Operate packaging and sampling equipment to prepare products according to specifications.
Internal Movements & Outbound Prep: Organize internal material movements and kits, confirm picking activities, and prepare outbound deliveries with accurate load details.
Warehouse Management: Receive, store, and book packaged materials; maintain inventory accuracy through checks and audits; manage shipping documents aligned with physical loads.
Safety & Compliance: Perform safety checks, housekeeping, racking inspections, and compliance audits across operational areas.
Waste Management: Remove and manage waste materials, replenish containers, handle PPE bins, and maintain high housekeeping standards during waste handling and loading activities.



Qualifications

Ability to obtain a valid Reach Truck, Terberg shunt vehicle and Counterbalance Forklift license. Previous experience is highly desirable.
Competence in using MRP/ERP systems such as SAP and ADC for real-time data entries.
Comfortable working with PC-based software and digital tools in a logistics or warehouse environment.


Your Skills



Exhibits excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, coordinate daily requirements and schedule work efficiently.
Previous warehouse experience is desirable. Previous operations experience is also advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to follow work procedures, safety rules, and company policies.
Demonstrated commitment to accurate counting and record-keeping.
Physical capability to move products (bending, lifting, reaching) in line with Health & Safety regulations.
PC literacy and experience with digital tools in a logistics/warehouse setting.
