Quality Assurance Supervisor – Ferndown – up to £37,000
We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join a busy manufacturing business in Ferndown. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take responsibility for quality across production and lead a small team of inspectors.
In this Quality Assurance Supervisor role, you’ll make sure products meet the required standards, support the production team, and help improve quality processes across the site. You’ll be the go-to person for any quality issues and ensure everything runs smoothly.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and support a small team of quality inspectors
- Carry out incoming, in-process, and final inspections
- Maintain and improve quality systems and procedures
- Investigate issues and put corrective actions in place
- Work with production to resolve quality problems quickly
Essential skills:
- Experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of inspection methods and measurement tools
- Ability to manage and guide a small team
- Understanding of quality standards and documentation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
