The Role & Responsibilities

As a Secondary Maths Teacher, you may be required to:

  • Deliver engaging and structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available)


  • Break down complex concepts to support all learning abilities


  • Create a positive, focused learning environment


  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies


  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback


  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners


  • Work collaboratively with Maths departments and support staff


  • Follow safeguarding policies and school procedures


    Roles are available on a daily supply, long-term, or permanent basis — tailored to your preference.

    We’re looking for teachers who:

    ✔ Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs welcome
    ✔ Have experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
    ✔ Are confident teaching up to KS4
    ✔ Have strong classroom management skills
    ✔ Bring a positive, flexible, can-do attitude
