Pay Scale: £95 - £115 per day

Hours: Full-time, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Long Term Futures are excited to be working with an all-through SEN school in Sheffield that is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. The school provides specialist support for learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and pupils who may present with challenging behaviours. About the Role:
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse needs, ensuring they thrive both academically and socially. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs
- Fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and structured learning environment for children with Autism
- Supporting students with social skills development, emotional regulation, and independence
- Assisting with the preparation and adaptation of learning materials
About You:
- Experience working in an SEN setting with children with Autism is highly desirable
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting pupils with complex needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for making a positive impact on children's lives
- A relevant qualification in education or SEN is advantageous but not essential
