As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging, differentiated lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities of your students. Your role will involve working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and other specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to each student's educational journey.
The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of SEND best practices and a proven track record of delivering positive outcomes for students. You will be adept at adapting your teaching methods to meet the specific needs of each child, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment that empowers them to reach their full potential.
In addition to your exceptional teaching skills, you will be an excellent communicator, collaborating seamlessly with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to each student's education. Your ability to think creatively and problem-solve will be essential in this dynamic role.
This position offers a competitive salary of £160-£240 per day, depending on your level of experience. During the first 12 weeks, you will be paid on a daily rate (DOE), and from the 13th week onwards, you will transition to a mainstream pay scale (MPS) plus a SEN1 allowance. The role also includes a range of benefits, such as Paid PAYE, a New DBS refund, equal pay to permanent staff from the 13th week, a Step Perks package, and free access to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.
