Summary
Position: Sports Coach - PRU
Location - Manchester (M11)
Pay - £475 - £550 per week, depending on experience
Start Date - 19/01/2026
Are you a calm and resilient individual with a passion for sports? We are currently working with a primary pupil referral unit to recruit for experienced sports coaches.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, using passion for sports as a way to re-engage.
- Co-ordinating fun and engaging activities for pupils
- Collaborating with teachers and parents to monitor progress
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Team Teach Level 2 is highly desired
- A passion for sports and delivering sports sessions
- A calm and resilient nature
- Excellent behaviour management strategies
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
