The Role
We’re recruiting for a Senior Data Analyst here at Justice Digital, to be part of our warm and collaborative Digital Finance and Reporting Team.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join us in the Digital Finance and Reporting Team, closely working with colleagues in the Technology Services Delivery Project Management Office. Our Project Management Office oversees a wide portfolio of technology-based transformation projects. These projects bring benefits to our end-users in Prisons, HM Courts, Probation and the MoJ HQ and help deliver the Justice Delivery Plan: Justice that cuts crime, Swifter Justice for victims, A beacon for justice and the rule of law.
As an experienced Data Analyst, you will work closely with the Reporting Lead to drive the development and implementation of advanced reporting solutions that empower data-driven decision-making. Your experience will enable you to report, and offer analysis on, Financial, Resourcing and Benefits data. You will build smart, adaptable reports which help to shape decisions and report on progress towards desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert guidance on data collation and input to achieve the best possible analytical and reporting outcomes (for example providing advice on use of data types and methods of data recording, avoiding duplication of data entry and storage where practical.)
Improving processes and streamlining data processing to achieve accuracy and improved timeliness in reporting.
Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to build robust data solutions.
Ensure stakeholders have the correct mechanism to take ownership of their data, specifically in inputting forecasting for in year and future years. Ensuring budgets are applied at project level, and portfolio level.
