The Stowe Group is seeking to appoint a Group Prep School Chaplain to provide vibrant evangelical Christian ministry to pupils and staff at our three prep schools.
The Chapel is at the heart of each school’s spiritual life, and we are seeking a Prep School Chaplain who is passionate about sharing Jesus and working with children. A great people person, the Prep School Chaplain will support both our pupils and staff, providing pastoral care to pupils of all faiths and none. Firmly embedded within the community at Ashfold School, the Prep School Chaplain will also lead the spiritual programme at Swanbourne House and Winchester House Schools, helping to foster a continuity of the evangelical Christian ministry and ethos across the Stowe Group.
This is an exciting opportunity to serve 850 pupils and 200 staff, working closely with the Stowe Chaplain & Assistant Chaplain. The successful candidate will also teach up to six lessons a week in total across the Group, and be involved in the pastoral, boarding and co-curricular provision of the prep schools. For an informal discussion about the role, please contact the Stowe Chaplain, Rev. James Righetti jrighetti@stowe.co.uk
Anticipated start date: 1st September 2026
Location: Ashfold School (with travel to Stowe, Swanbourne House & Winchester House schools)
