Join Our Team as a Complex Care Support Worker – Make a Real Difference!

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a support worker to work alongside our clients with complex needs across several care packages.

Pay: £14.42 - 16.17 per hour weekdays, £15.45 - £17.25 per hour weekends

Hours: 40 per week

About the Role

You’ll be supporting across three male clients, with designated days at each rather than traveling to all three in one day. The clients you'll be supporting have a range of complex clinical needs due to brain or spinal injury. You'll be providing care for clinical needs such as bowel/catheter care, manual handling/mobility support, pressure area care, autonomic dysreflexia, challenging behaviour, neuro fatigue, memory issues and seizures. We're looking for someone with experience in complex care and the ability to build strong, supportive relationships through clear communication and empathy.

The client's ages range from 20's to 50's, all three live in their own homes with members of their families. They enjoy a range of things such as football, gaming, greyhound racing, volunteer work and attending the gym. Your role will be to support them physically and emotionally, helping them live life to the fullest.

What We’re Looking For

Due to the client's needs, we’re seeking a male support worker with:

  • A genuine passion for care and making a difference
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Reliable, committed, and flexible approach
  • Experience in complex care and managing challenging behaviours
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

You’ll need to be confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with the client and her family.

Key Responsibilities

As a support worker, you will:

  • Assist with personalised routines, including use of hoists
  • Support with daily living activities such as personal hygiene and mobility
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Maintain accurate care records and report any changes
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members

Why Join Us?

As part of Libertatem Healthcare Group (a Sonderwell company), you’ll be joining a team dedicated to delivering exceptional care and promoting independence.

Benefits include:

  • Access to our benefits and communication platform
  • Exclusive discounts at thousands of retailers
  • Wellness Centre and financial wellbeing support
  • Gym membership and healthcare cash plan discounts
  • Employee assistance programme (EAP)
  • Employee referral bonus
