The firm is now seeking a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Construction Professional Indemnity team, which is ranked among the best in the industry. Your new role You will become part of a thriving team that handles some of the most complex and high-profile construction disputes in the market. The team advises insurers and insured professionals, including architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, project managers, and specialist contractors, on professional negligence claims and policy coverage issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of construction professional indemnity claims, both pre-action and litigated.
- Advising insurers on coverage under insurance policies.
- Engaging directly with clients, experts, and Counsel, providing commercially focused advice.
- Supervising junior fee earners and supporting Partners on large-scale matters.
- Applying your knowledge of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation.
This role offers genuine flexibility enabling hybrid working and a healthy work-life balance.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years PQE with strong experience in construction professional indemnity.
- Excellent client relationship and handling skills.
- Ability to manage your own caseload with a high degree of autonomy.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach and willingness to support junior colleagues.
- Strong technical knowledge and a proactive, change-oriented mindset.
