Job Title: HR Administrator
Actual Annual Salary: £28,859 – £31,111 (Grade C) Based on 37 hours per week, all year round
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
Contract Length: Fixed until 31/08/2026
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday / All year-round
Additional role info: This is a hybrid role based across Federation House (Kingswood, Bristol), home working, and regular travel to CLF academies. The post holder will be required to work at Federation House every Wednesday, with additional visits to academies across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Somerset, and Gloucestershire.

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our Central HR Team at Cabot Learning Federation. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth delivery of HR processes across several academies, providing accurate administration, excellent customer service, and reliable first‑line HR support.
You’ll work closely with HR Officers, academy leaders, payroll partners, and colleagues across the federation to maintain accurate HR records, process employment changes, and contribute to an efficient, values‑led HR service. From managing data and supporting payroll to responding to day‑to‑day HR queries, your work will help keep our HR operations running smoothly and professionally.
This is a trust‑wide, varied role offering the opportunity to develop HR skills and gain experience across a large multi-academy trust.
About you:
You will have:
Strong administration experience, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Confident IT skills, including experience using HR Information Systems or the ability to learn new systems.
The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and empathy.
Strong time‑management skills, able to manage a busy and varied workload and meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with staff at all levels.
Good literacy and numeracy, with GCSE English and Maths.
A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and excellent service delivery across our school.
