Key responsibilities: Relationship and Stakeholder Management Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with GP Practices, practice staff, PCNs, ICBs, clinical leads and other primary care stakeholders. Act as first point of contact for GP queries, feedback, challenges, and liaison requests. Represent PML/ED in GP forums, stakeholder meetings, events and educational sessions. Referral Management and Pathway Support Provide support, guidance and clarity to GPs regarding referral criteria, guidelines, triage protocols, triage outcomes and turnaround times. Help develop, refine, and communicate referral pathways and protocols to ensure more appropriate and efficient referrals. Work with internal clinical services/departments to ensure timely responses and feedback loops to GPs. Local Health System Intelligence and Market Insight Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the local health system, including PCN structures, ICB priorities, referral behaviours and service interdependencies. Gather intelligence on local diagnostic providers, alternative pathways, and competitor services, including capacity, referral routes, turnaround times and perceived strengths or gaps. Capture informal and formal feedback from GP practices regarding comparator services, system pressures, and unmet needs. Share insights with the Commercial and Operational teams to inform service development, positioning, and local engagement strategies. Service Development and Integration Gather feedback from GPs on barriers, challenges, and opportunities in clinical pathways, pathway integrations and continuity of care. Participate in co-design of services, improvement initiatives, or transformation programmes to ensure that GP perspectives are integrated. Identify gaps or inefficiencies in interface between pathways. Support operational and commercial teams by identifying potential new locations, practices or community settings suitable for service expansion. Work with practices, PCNs and system partners to understand local estate availability, access constraints and patient flow considerations. Contribute local intelligence to feasibility discussions for new sites, pop-up clinics, or pathway extensions. Data, Insights and Reporting Monitor and analyse referral data, conversion rates, turnaround times Internal Collaboration and Intelligence Sharing Provide regular insight updates to internal stakeholders, including Operations, Service Delivery and Commercial teams, to support planning and continuous improvement. Contribute to internal reporting on GP engagement themes, emerging system risks, and opportunities for pathway optimisation. The role may require travel outside of the Greater Manchester region to provide ad hoc support in other territories. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance of Personal Training Record Protecting and Safeguarding of personal/sensitive information within their department ACCOUNTABILITY: The post holder is accountable to the Commercial Director and works closely with Operational and Service Delivery leads.
