Crynodeb
To provide expert leadership for the technical advancement of Blood Transfusion service and to assist the lead consultants in areas of responsibility in the strategic development and delivery of this Clinical Services. To work with Team managers to ensure discipline specific expert knowledge is available as required and operate a fully functioning compliant Blood Transfusion service within agreed key performance indicators To perform a range of highly specialised Healthcare Scientific activities to IBMS/RCPath standards within competence and as agreed with consultant staff. To maintain Blood Transfusion service is compliant with all relevant National Standards/Regulations and Guidelines
