Crynodeb
Generic responsibility and information. The post holder will be a central member of a multidisciplinary team. The post holder will be supported in keeping themselves up to date with current knowledge & practice, expected to attend clinical meetings within the department & to participate in audit & in-service training of other healthcare professionals. There are no on call requirement for these posts. The post holder will may be required to deputise for absent colleagues from time to time and to perform additional duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances. It is essential that the post holder holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own vehicle. Mileage will be reimbursed The post is not a recognised training post, but would be ideal for those wishing to gain further experience in the specialty as the training, supervision and clinical experience will be similar to that of the training grade doctors and tailored to the postholders previous level of experience. Candidates must have full GMC Registration, and a familiarity with issues of service organisation and development would be particularly advantageous.
