Position: 3.5T DRIVER - TRAINEE HGV DRIVER
We are seeking a van/3.5T Driver with removals experience that is looking for the next stage in their career within removals to become an HGV Driver with AGM Bishops in Aylesbury.
Following a successful probation period, you will undergo training at our chosen test centre to become our next HGV Driver.
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
• Packing and wrapping customer goods before manually and physically lifting (aided and unaided) onto vehicles or into location
• Completing the necessary on the job paperwork to a high standard
• Undertake daily vehicle and safety checks, routine maintenance (e.g. oil and water checks) and report any defects.
• Provide assistance in the moving and handling of customer goods, including driving to and from location (long and short distances) across the UK
• Willing to do nights away, some Saturdays as required and flexible with hours.
Experience & Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a removal environment - Essential
• Full UK drivers’ licence (no more than 6 points) – Essential
• Excellent customer service and organisational skills – Essential
• Experience in driving vans / 3.5T – Essential
Remuneration & Benefits Package:
• Highly competitive Salary depending on experience for the right candidate.
• Days of work:· Normal days of work: Monday to Friday. (Occasional weekends)
• Hours - 45 hours per week (weekdays) times can vary depending on the job and can finish late on occasion.
• Based out of the Aylesbury depot
