The Role – Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will become a valued member of the classroom team in an EYFS, KS1 or KS2 setting, supporting children as they learn, explore and develop across the curriculum.

You will help to build pupils’ confidence, respond to individual needs and contribute to a positive, welcoming learning environment where every child feels encouraged to succeed.

This rewarding role is ideal for graduates with aspirations in Primary Teaching, Educational Psychology or Child Psychology who are keen to gain meaningful, hands-on classroom experience before progressing to a PGCE or further professional training.

Ideal Candidate – Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

• Degree in any subject area; Education, Psychology, Early Years, Early Childhood or other Social Sciences are preferred but NOT essential
• Enthusiastic about helping young people learn
• Strong communicator with empathetic and patient nature
• Professional, committed, and proactive
• Must have the right to work in the UK
