The Training Role – Graduate Maths Teacher
This is a full-time, salaried teacher training position based in a Cambridge secondary school. You will be immersed in the classroom from the outset while receiving structured mentoring and professional development. The role includes:
• Teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to progress further.
• A phased increase in teaching responsibility throughout the academic year.
• Weekly, in-school and centralised training focused on practical teaching skills.
• One-to-one mentoring from experienced Maths teachers.
• Developing confident classroom practice, behaviour management, and assessment skills.
• Working towards Qualified Teacher Status within one academic year.

Candidate Requirements
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
• A 2:1 or above in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• OR a 2:1 or above in any subject with A or A* at A-Level Maths.
• GCSE Maths and English (or approved equivalency).
• Strong academic confidence in Mathematics.
• A clear commitment to working with young people in education.
• Professionalism, resilience, and a strong work ethic.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
