Technical Operative
Location: Newark-on-Trent
Hours: Monday to Friday (Full-Time)
We are seeking a Technical Operative with a strong interest in electronics and telecommunications. This is a practical, workshop-based role involving the disassembly, repair, and refurbishment of mobile phones, electrical components, and BT-related equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Stripping, dismantling, and refurbishing mobile phones and electronic devices
• Replacing and repairing electrical components and parts
• Handling and processing telecoms equipment and related items
• Diagnosing basic faults and ensuring components meet quality standards
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Following technical procedures and company guidelines accurately
Skills & Experience
• Technically minded with a strong interest in electronics or telecoms
• Experience working with electrical or electronic components (preferred but not essential)
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work methodically
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
