Crynodeb
The Jobholder is responsible for managing the ward on a shift-by-shift basis alongside providing clinical care for patients. The jobholder carries responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. The jobholder will provide specialist nursing care and advice to this specific patient group and will contribute to the development of the speciality service. The jobholder will ensure cost effective use of resources. The post holder would be preferably from the background of cardiology/cardiac surgery. They will contribute to data collection and audit. The post holder will support the B7 ward manager in leading and managing the ward nursing team and implementing improvements within the patient pathway.
