Appointment of Caretaker (x3), Multiple sites in BN7 2QS
(Full Time – 37 hours)
Salary Scale SCP: 4 - 6 (starting at £25,185 per annum)

Lewes Town Council is building a strong, reliable team of Caretakers to support the day to day running of our three historic venues: All Saints Centre, Malling Community Centre and Lewes Town Hall.
If you’re practical, hands on, organised, and enjoy helping people, this could be the perfect role for you.
Caretakers play a key role in keeping our buildings safe, clean and ready for community use. The role includes general maintenance and DIY tasks, setting up and breaking down events, cleaning, stock checks, opening and locking up, and being a friendly point of contact for hirers and members of the public.

• Enjoy interacting with the public in a polite and professional way
• Have an awareness of Health & Safety regulations
• Have basic working knowledge of the internet, using Outlook and Teams
• Are willing to work some evenings and weekends as part of a rota
