We are looking for an experienced and motivated Pay & Rewards specialist with exceptional organisational skills.
This is the perfect opportunity for a process driven individual who relishes working independently, the majority of the time from home, to join a dynamic team leading the People support function within Denbighshire.
The main responsibilites are:
To develop a fair and equitable pay and reward strategy and policy for all employees, which is compliant with current legislation, and supports the Council’s aims ensuring an appropriate level of consistency and compliance at service level.
Manage the ongoing maintenance of job evaluation for the Council, and build good relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate an understanding of the service aims and objectives, roles and responsibilities, and issues.
To research, gather and analyse data, and produce reports for consideration by Senior Leaders and Elected Members on Pay and Reward to include annual Gender Pay Audits and mandatory equality reports.
To write and develop HR policies, programs and practices in accordance with service need, legislation or recognised best practice in order to build line manager capability to resolve issues informally or without recourse to the service
team.
