You’ll be joining a productive and successful Brand and Corporate Partnerships team. Since 2020, we have brought in millions of additional funding in support of our work, and you’ll help us take this to the next level.
We’re looking for someone who shares our ambitious vision in promoting Forestry England and our forests on a cinematic platform.
You will report to the Head of Brand and Corporate Partnerships and will be a confident and engaging location manager with a detailed understanding of the film and tv industry along with broadcast, commercial and stills productions. You’ll have experience of negotiating fees and contracts, with knowledge of copyright law in relation to film and TV work.

Where you’ll work…
The position spans the entire country, requiring regular national travel while also supporting flexible blended working.
Day to day responsibilities for the role can be summarised as the following:
- Liaise closely with incoming productions, supporting and advising from enquiry through to wrap & reinstatement.
- Support colleagues across departments and regions, in facilitating filming.
- Budget, track and report on filming related income and expenditure; working to targets and responding to opportunities nationwide.
- Develop our portfolio and carry out regular site visits to photograph and survey potential locations.
- Manage external relationships with film offices, councils and other industry organisations.
- Promote the work of Forestry England and our locations within the TV and Film sector and engage with industry opportunities both internally and externally (including potential screen tourism offerings).
- Advise on best work practices and review the necessary paperwork ensuring that filming activity is carried out in a professional, safe, sensitive and sustainable manner.
And any other tasks, reasonably requested by your line manager.
