What You'll Do
As a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer, you'll lead the design and delivery of engineering solutions across the full project lifecycle - from concept development to construction. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading civil and structural design activities for complex infrastructure projects.
- Preparing technical documentation and safety case inputs.
- Supporting nuclear licencing and regulatory processes.
- Mentoring junior engineers and reviewing technical deliverables.
- Engaging with clients, regulators, and project partners.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards.
What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from experienced engineers with a passion for innovation and collaboration. Ideal candidates will have:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (MEng, MSc, BEng, BSc).
- Chartered or near-chartered status (support provided).
- Experience in regulated industries such as nuclear, energy, or infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of design standards (ACI, ASCE, AISC).
- Proficiency in finite element modelling and BIM tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
