Join a leading global consultancy at the forefront of delivering innovative solutions across the nuclear, renewable energy, and high-energy industrial sectors - including data centres and hydrogen production facilities.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to nationally significant projects, from supporting the UK's nuclear fleet and advancing Small Modular Reactor (SMR) technologies, to enabling the transition to Net Zero through sustainable energy systems.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Civil & Structural Engineer, you'll lead the design and delivery of engineering solutions across the full project lifecycle - from concept development to construction. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading civil and structural design activities for complex infrastructure projects.
  • Preparing technical documentation and safety case inputs.
  • Supporting nuclear licencing and regulatory processes.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and reviewing technical deliverables.
  • Engaging with clients, regulators, and project partners.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

We welcome applications from experienced engineers with a passion for innovation and collaboration. Ideal candidates will have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (MEng, MSc, BEng, BSc).
  • Chartered or near-chartered status (support provided).
  • Experience in regulated industries such as nuclear, energy, or infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of design standards (ACI, ASCE, AISC).
  • Proficiency in finite element modelling and BIM tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Why Join Us?

Our client offer a supportive, inclusive environment where your growth and wellbeing are prioritised. Benefits include:

  • Competitive salary up to £65,000 + benefits
  • Flexible working arrangements (hybrid, part-time, varied locations).
  • Free single medical cover and digital GP service.
  • Enhanced parental leave and family-friendly policies.
  • Professional development support and membership reimbursement.
  • Access to employee assistance and wellbeing programmes.
