Are you a confident, customer-focused sales professional with a background in building materials? Do you thrive in a close-knit
team where no two days are the same? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for a Sales Executive to join our Aylesbury branch — someone who can build strong relationships, drive results, and
play an active role across the branch. You’ll be a key point of contact for our customers, offering expert advice and ensuring a
first-class service at every touchpoint.
This isn’t a behind-the-desk role — we’re a small team, so you’ll occasionally support in the yard or warehouse and may need to
operate a forklift (training can be provided if needed).
Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with trade and commercial customers
* Respond to sales enquiries by phone, email and in person, offering expert product advice
* Raise quotes and process orders accurately and efficiently
* Proactively upsell and promote suitable products to meet customer needs
* Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, sales activity, and pricing
* Collaborate with colleagues across the branch to ensure smooth operations
* Provide occasional cover in the yard and warehouse, including forklift work if trained
* Support stock control and help ensure the branch remains clean, safe and well-presented

Salary: £32,000-£36,000
Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Fri

Requirements
* Proven sales experience, with a strong track record of hitting targets
* Background in the builders’ merchant or construction supply sector — ideally with civils or groundworks knowledge
* A team player who’s happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved wherever needed
* Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
* Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
* Comfortable using IT systems and managing multiple priorities
* Forklift experience is desirable (or a willingness to train)
* Eligible to work in the UK
