LECTURER IN BUILDING SERVICES ENGINEERING

Hours: 37 per week

Salary: £42,477 - £44,969 per annum

We have an excellent reputation for providing quality education in Construction and the Built Environment and due to growth, we are currently looking for full time or part time lecturers in Construction Management to join our team of construction specialists.

If you have industry experience in the construction industry and are interested in a teaching career, we would like to hear from you.

Subjects you could be teaching include, Principles of Electrical Design and Installation, Science Principles for BSE and Sustainable Construction.

We willexplore your areas of expertise in more detail at interview and discuss how your skills can best fit within our team.

The ability to communicate effectively with adults and young people is essential. Experience of teaching at National and Higher National level is desirable. Possession of (or willingness to achieve) a Certificate in Education will be essential. (Teacher training will be provided if necessary)

This role is eligible for the DfE Levelling Up Premium Payments, of up to £6,000 for FE teachers, for those meeting the criteria. This involves the government paying

successful candidates from an industry background to get into teaching. Leeds College of Building will fund successful candidates to become a qualified FE teacher.

This role is based in the UK. Home Office guidance states that candidates must evidence their
