Supervise and support care workers to ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care
Conduct regular spot checks and home visits to monitor care quality
Ensure care plans and risk assessments are accurate, up to date, and followed
Respond to concerns, incidents, complaints, and safeguarding issues appropriately
Promote dignity, respect, choice, and independence at all times
Carry out staff inductions, shadowing, and ongoing supervision
Support staff performance through feedback, coaching, and appraisals
Identify training needs and support professional development
Participate in staff recruitment and retention activities
Provide on-call support as required- 2 weekends per month
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, company policies, and care standards
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
Monitor medication management and ensure safe practices
Support audits and inspections as required
Ensure health and safety policies are followed
