Job Title: Operational Support ManagerLocation: National Accounts (with regular travel to sites as required)Reporting to: Operations ManagerWorking Pattern: Full time, flexible hours
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and highly organised OperationalSupport Manager to join our National Accounts team. This role is critical to supporting a growing portfolio of national contracts by providing high-quality operational, administrative, compliance, and project support.
The OperationalSupport Manager will work closely with Account Managers, Operations Managers, and senior stakeholders to ensure effective governance, cost control, people processes, and delivery of transformation initiatives. This is a varied and influential role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPeople, HR and Recruitment Support
-Support and manage HR cases in line with company policies
-Take accurate notes and maintain documentation for formal meetings
-Support recruitment activity including CV screening, telephone interviews, and competency-based interviews
-Coordinate vetting, onboarding, and new starter administration
Operational and Financial Support
-Source and organise quotes for variable costs
-Raise purchase orders via Coupa
-Track, record, and report on variable costs across contracts
-Manage monthly SOS team recharges
-Support cost models and financial reporting
Logistics and Administration
-Book travel and accommodation for operational teams
-Arrange operational cover through Retinue
-Act as key liaison with uniform suppliers, including returns, new offers, presentations, and sample requests
-Arrange IT and mobile phone orders for new starters
Training, Quality and Compliance
-Act as Super User and Administrator for SharePoint
-Track Signature CX training attendance and organise face-to-face training sessions
-Support contract mobilisations including roadshows, onboarding, and 1:1 consultations
-Support QHSE compliance, including site audits
-Conduct mystery shopping visits and contract-specific monthly audits
Operational and Project Support
-Provide operational support to Workplace services, including assistance with Daily Recs when required
-Support and administer business projects
-Lead and support transformation initiatives
-Undertake regular site visits to support consistency and service standards
Wider Business Support
-Support wider Signature recruitment initiatives
-Assist with presentations and business development activity as required
Skills and ExperienceEssential:
-Previous experience in a business support, operations, or management support role
-Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
-Experience supporting recruitment, HR processes, and compliance activities
-Confident communicator with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders
-Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
-Experience supporting multi-site or national accounts
-Knowledge of Coupa or similar procurement systems
-Experience in facilities management, hospitality, or workplace services
-Project or transformation support experience
