Crynodeb
We have a house in liskeard where we support two ladies to live together in their own home, both girls have a learning disability and many other complex needs. Both ladies have 24hr support, 1 lady is 2:1 and the other is 1:1 - both ladies lead a fun filled life, they access the community daily for activities - some of which include horse riding, swimming, concerts, gym, nature walks, sensory room etc. So we are seeking an enthusiastic person with an open mind and positive attitude who is able to support our ladies to live their best lives and access all these things in the community whilst living safely in their own home and supporting with tasks associated with living in their own home.
The role does includes personal care duties.
Our shifts include
8-8 day
830-7 day
8-8 resting (sleep)
and waking nights 8-8
We are not currently looking for waking night staff however a willingness to help cover shortages is always helpful.
We only have part time positions available but the shifts are full days also extra hours available as overtime to cover holiday cover often available if wanted.
we have a staff team of 14 currently and operate on a 4 week rolling rota. The role is a 24:7 job so weekend work is expected as part of the rolling rota.
Driving licence is preferred due to the nature of the job, one of our ladies does has her own manual car, but if use of your own car is needed it would be paid at 45p per mile.
