Crynodeb
Millfield School is seeking an experienced Carpenter / Joiner to become a key part of our dedicated maintenance team. You’ll carry out repairs, installations, and bespoke joinery work across our estate, using both traditional techniques and woodworking machinery.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Maintain and repair wooden fixtures, furniture, doors, and windows
• Manufacture and install bespoke joinery items
• Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven carpentry/joinery experience
• Skilled in woodworking machinery and hand tools
• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
This is a year-round position, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with a salary of £31,000–£33,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
