What We’re Looking For



  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).

  • Proven experience in a Nursery Room Leader or senior early years role.

  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development best practices.

  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

  • Passion for delivering high-quality care in a child-focused and nurturing environment.

  • Ability to motivate and develop a team, promoting a positive and inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and manage a specific nursery room, ensuring the smooth delivery of care and education for your group.

  • Support and mentor your team of early years practitioners, fostering a culture of learning and development.

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.

  • Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing observations and feedback to support development.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and inspiring environment both indoors and outdoors.

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.

  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health, safety, and quality standards.
