Maintenance Supervisor – FM Service Provider – Farringdon, London – Up to £57,000 per annum (+3K HVAP Status - 60K)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to join an FM Service Provider based in Farringdon, London.
The role is predominantly hands-on, with the successful candidate expected to spend the majority of their time working on the tools while providing day-to-day supervision and technical support to the engineering team. The position is primarily landlord-focused (approximately 80%), with the remaining 20% dedicated to supporting tenant requirements and ensuring service excellence across all areas.
Flexibility is essential, as the role will involve participation in planned shutdowns and out-of-hours works when required.
£57,000 per annum, rising to £60,000 per annum upon achieving HVAP status (+£3,000).
Hours of Work
08:00am - 17:00pm
Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a team of three Engineers on site
- Daily checks, planned and reactive maintenance of electrical systems
- First response to electrical or system faults across the building
- Overseeing lighting controls, HVAC electrical components, and general LV infrastructure
- Supporting wider facilities operations and escalating where necessary
- Coordinating with mobile support team and on-site contractors as needed
- Maintaining system logs, completing PPM tasks, and ensuring close-out of all work orders
About You
- Electrically or Mechanical qualified C&G Level 2 & 3
- Proactive and able to problem-solve quickly
- Confident with automated systems and modern building tech
- Calm and professional in front of clients and end users
- Willing to assist in emergencies and flexible when required (rare, but supported)
