Our client, a long-established and patient-focused dental practice in Shrewsbury, is currently seeking a Qualified Dental Nurse to join their friendly and professional team. The practice provides high-quality general, cosmetic, orthodontic, and implant dentistry and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including intra-oral scanners and a CBCT machine.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a proactive, compassionate individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
You will need:
• Previous experience in a dental practice
• Excellent patient care skills with a friendly, compassionate approach
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Good IT skills for maintaining accurate records and using practice software
• The ability to work well within a team and independently when required
Key Responsibilities
• Preparing, sterilising, and maintaining instruments and materials
• Providing reassurance and support to patients throughout their visit
• Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and infection control standards
• Supporting with appointment scheduling, correspondence, and stock control
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintaining clinical equipment and assisting with sterilisation processes
