The sign of a good business is how they treat staff and that is the case with this 5* housebuilder who’re looking to add a Senior Land Manager to their successful and Award-Winning business. Over the last 12 months, there’s been numerous internal promotions (which is why this role has come free) that has seen many long-standing staff stepping up to Senior positions. If you can build your career with a family firm that still holds true to their values, why would you look anywhere else?
As part of a compact team which would include that newly promoted Land Director (who’s been in the business 9 years), you’d be part of a 2 x Senior team with 2 x Land Buyers and a Graduate under you comprising of a wider team including a Planning Manager and a Strategic Lane Manager, too.
They’ve got a lot on this year – “we’re in a very stable position and it looks very positive for 2026” said their HR Director – with several sites coming online in the Cheshire and North Wales area and with the business in a top spot compared to other housebuilders out there. They’d want your Land experience and know how within the region to help propel them to more prosperity in the coming years.
And they’ll pay you really well for that. I’ve got a salary banding of £60,000 to £80,000 plus a raft of excellent benefits for the right person – their package has always been up there and exceeding some of the PLC businesses operating within housebuild so you’re paid definitely just as well but without that external pressure that those businesses can bring.
You’ll join a family firm that still holds true to their family values and you’ll be based around sites in and around the Wirral, Cheshire and Wrexham areas. As is the case with these roles, variety is often the name of the game – one minute you might be called in to do a basic meet and greet with a customer and the next you might need to get your hands busy on a plot.
They’ll give you everything you need to do a top-quality job, offering you a great package with perks and the chance to work with NHBC Award Winning Site Managers and a Senior Construction and Customer Care team who, between them, have around 75 years’ experience working within this business – what did I say about their excellent retention?
