Learning Support Assistant / Pastoral Assistant
ABOUT THE ROLE
Prospero Teaching is looking for compassionate and resilient Learning Support Assistants and Pastoral Assistants to work with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in Salisbury. This role involves providing one-to-one and small group support, helping students develop their social skills, emotional regulation, and academic progress in a supportive environment.
You will work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to create a positive learning experience tailored to individual needs.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
* Location - Salisbury, Wiltshire
* Position - Learning Support Assistant / Pastoral Assistant
* Type of work - Supporting SEMH students one-to-one and in small groups
* Start date - ASAP
* Contract type - Temporary
* Duration - Ongoing
* Full time/part time - Full time or ad-hoc
* Pay rate - £14/Hour
* Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
* A degree is preferred but not essential
* At least one year of experience working with young people or vulnerable individuals
* Up-to-date safeguarding training completed within the last year (we can provide this if needed)
ELIGIBILITY
* Right to work in the UK
* An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
* Ability to provide two professional references related to working with children or vulnerable individuals
