About the Role
Long Term Futures is supporting a well-established SEN school in the NG3 area that supports children and young people aged 4 to 19 with Autism, learning difficulties, communication challenges, and SEMH. The school offers a high staff-to-pupil ratio, providing personalised care, structure, and support for each student.
This is a long-term, consistent supply role, offering weekly pre-bookings to match your availability, ensuring no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEN
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and daily routines
- Support pupils with emotional regulation, confidence, and life skills
- Work flexibly across different classes and year groups
- Support positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, structured environment
Who We'd Love to Hear From
We welcome candidates with experience in:
- ASD support, teaching assistants, or school support roles
- Residential childcare, youth work, or mentoring
- Sports coaching, outdoor education, or activity leadership
- Mental health, wellbeing support or related fields

- Confident working with challenging behaviour in a positive and calm way
