Summary
We are recruiting an experienced and passionate Nursery Deputy Manager to join a well-established nursery in North London (NW2 / NW5).
This role is ideal for an experienced Deputy Manager, Room Leader, or Senior Practitioner looking to step into a leadership position within a supportive early years setting.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager with daily operations
Lead and motivate the early years team
Ensure full compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, safeguarding, and health & safety requirements
Oversee planning, observations, and assessments
Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead when required
Build strong relationships with parents and professionals
Step in for the Manager when needed
Requirements
Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
Previous experience in a Deputy Manager, Room Leader, or Senior Practitioner role
Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted frameworks
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Right to work in the UK
