CBW are seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established specialist , forward-thinking Air Conditioning contractor operating across Scotland’s Central Belt. This is a mobile role supporting a diverse portfolio of end-user clients, delivering high-quality service, maintenance, and fault resolution on air conditioning systems.

Salary & Package:

- Salary up to £45,000 DOE
- Guaranteed additional earnings – approx. £600 per year from call-out
- 36-hour working week – reduced hours compared to the standard 40-hour week
- On-call rota: Approximately every 6 weeks (can be less)
- Call-out pay – £100 weekend allowance + minimum 4 hours paid per call-out
- Overtime - Saturday: Time and a half, Sunday: Double time

- Paid travel time starts after 20 miles from the office

You will work directly with end-user clients across a range of sectors, including:

- Hospitality
- Retail
- Pharmaceutical
- Commercial environments and specialist facilities
- Covering predominantly the Central Belt of Scotland with occasional travel further North

Key Responsibilities:

- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning systems
- Reactive maintenance and breakdown response
- Accurate fault finding, diagnostics, and repair
- Striving for first-time fix wherever possible
- Completing work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Maintaining clear communication with clients and internal support teams

Qualifications & Experience (Essential):

- F-Gas Category 1 certification
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
- Proven experience working as a mobile Air Conditioning Engineer
- Strong PPM and fault-finding experience across commercial systems
- Full UK driving licence
