Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic, committed and aspirational teacher to cover maternity leave from 5th May 2026 for up to 12 months.
We welcome applications from someone in the early stages of their career or more experienced candidates who can demonstrate a strong track record of highly effective teaching and outstanding pupil progress. A job share would be considered.
We are looking for someone who:
• Can motivate children of all abilities so that they achieve and make outstanding progress
• Has a secure understanding of how formative assessment drives planning and practice
• Is hard working, contributes fully and collaborates successfully as part of a team
• Is keen to support the Catholic ethos of the school and willing to take an active part in the wider life of the school
