About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Centre Principal to lead one of our Colleges within the SCC Group. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will oversee all aspects of college operations, ensuring excellence in curriculum delivery, quality standards, and student experience. As a highly visible leader, you will represent the College to students, parents, and stakeholders, driving forward strategic priorities and fostering a culture of innovation and achievement.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
Oversee performance across key operational areas, including compliance, attendance, retention, academic results, and budget management.
Lead and develop a team of Heads of Department and Heads of Pastoral Studies.
Drive innovative curriculum strategies for 1619 study programmes, adult learning, and higher education.
Manage curriculum budgets and capital spending aligned with the College’s strategic plan.
Produce and monitor Self-Assessment Reports and quality improvement actions.
Represent the College in internal and external forums on curriculum, quality, and safeguarding matters.
About You
We are looking for a visionary leader with:
A proven track record in teaching and management within the FE sector.
Experience in leading change, managing curriculum at Levels 13, and achieving outstanding learner outcomes.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
A degree and a teaching qualification (postgraduate and management qualifications desirable).
