Crynodeb
The Finance Manager will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and professional financial support within the organisation. Operating at a mid-management level, holding a senior position within the team, and reporting directly to the Chief Finance Officer, the postholder will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the practices financial operations. This includes supporting the annual financial cycle, producing management accounts, contributing to budget planning, and maintaining compliance with NHS, HMRC and statutory regulations. The postholder will work closely with the CFO and support a wide range of finance functions from payroll and pensions to claims and forecasting, using Xero to ensure efficient financial tracking and reporting. The role requires a strong understanding of financial processes within a general practice setting and a working knowledge of a company limited by guarantee. The postholder will ensure financial integrity while overseeing other finance administrators and working closely with both clinical and administrative teams to support strategic development and operational sustainability.
