Crynodeb
A experienced Principal Fire Safety Surveyor is required on an initial 6-month contract to lead fire safety compliance across a London local authority.
Key Information:
- Location: Hammersmith, London (W6)
- Rate: £450-£500 per day (Umbrella)
- Start: ASAP (ideally within 1-2 weeks)
- Contract: 6 months initially
- Working pattern: Predominantly onsite for inspections, with some remote work depending on service needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage fire safety compliance across multiple properties
- Carry out fire safety inspections and risk assessments
- Provide expert advice on fire safety legislation and best practice
- Prioritise risk and develop hazard profiling in complex environments
- Set up and manage monitoring systems to assess and control fire risk
- Deliver fire safety training and presentations
About You:
- Strong experience in fire safety within facilities management or similar environments
- In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety and fire safety legislation
- Proven leadership and compliance delivery experience
- Confident communicator with training and presentation skills
