Contract Manager

£75,000/£80,000 + Package

Due to a growth in work and full order book, my client is looking to appoint a Contracts Manager to oversee projects of up to £25m throughout the Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire regions. My client is a prominent contractor with a growing footprint, with a presence in the market for over 40 years. They are committed to delivering the highest standards of safety, expertise and quality while maintaining a supportive, family-orientated culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing projects to ensure compliance and to achieve financial, safety, quality and environmental targets.
  • Creating contract plans, safety plans, method statements, risk assessments and taking the responsibility for the safe delivery of projects.
  • Undertaking planning, programming and resourcing of assigned contracts.
  • Managing relationships through liaising, negotiating, and meeting with clients, consulting engineers, surveyors, sub-contractors etc.
  • Promoting and encouraging innovation and value.
  • Motivating, coaching, encouraging, supporting and providing guidance to both staff and operatives.
  • Contributing to our upcoming health and safety mission by ensuring company SHEQ, and all other procedures are followed.
  • Supporting and contributing to our sustainability and social value goals.
  • Assisting and promoting our mission of providing a safe and caring workplace.
