Your new job working as a Commercial Account Handler/Client Service Advisor will be working within one of the UK's leading independent brokers. With offices based throughout the UK, these brokers make it a priority to understand every detail of client's businesses and work in partnerships to provide a complete service to their customers. The company offer unbiased access to the market and place cover with an established insurer network where they also work not only in UK but in the republic of Ireland too. They offer innovative and intelligent risk advice and insurance programmed designed to confidently provide clients a service to protect their risks. Due to growth within their Corporate Commercial Team based either in Ipswich a new role for a Commercial Account Handler/Client service advisor has arisen.
Your new role
Your new job working as a Commercial Account handler/Client service advisor means that you will be responsible for acting as account advisor on nominated accounts and will support other members of the team. Working under an Account Executive, your responsibilities will include dealing with clients from inception to completion, developing business from existing contacts as well as new introductions alongside your own accounts and ensuring enquiries are dealt with. Other responsibilities will include accurate preparation of client registers and updates as required, checking policy documents and providing assistance to the claims department where relevant. You will be using Acturis on a daily basis.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Commercial Account Handler and the ability to work in Ipswich help you succeed in this role. Use of Acturis is preferred. You will ideally have progression towards professional qualifications. As well as this you will have a high standard of integrity alongside an ability to work in a highly regulated environment. You must be able to develop and sustain relationships with colleagues and clients and have great written and verbal communication skills and be able to manage a team effectively.
