The Best Connection Eastbourne is actively recruiting newly passed Class 1 (Cat C+E) Drivers to join a supportive and well-established logistics partner in the Hastings area. If you've recently gained your Class 1 and are struggling to find work due to experience requirements, this is a genuine opportunity designed to help you get started in your driving career.
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for:
- Completing duties in a safe and professional manner.
- Ensuring loads are secure and compliant before and during transport.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Working within drivers' hours and working time regulations.
- Representing the company positively on site and with customers.
(Please note: your role may not be limited to these tasks)
What you'll need & what you'll get
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence - newly passed drivers welcome
- CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Basic understanding of driver hours and compliance
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic
- A professional and safety-focused approach
