Pay: £120 – £140 per day

Looking for flexible work in Secondary schools without the pressure of planning or marking?

TeacherActive are working in partnership with several Secondary schools across Canvey Island and are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to provide consistent, high-quality classroom cover.

Cover Supervisors play a vital role within schools, supporting students and ensuring learning continues smoothly in the absence of teaching staff. This role does not involve planning or preparation, however strong classroom management and communication skills are essential.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• CACHE Level 2/3 or at least 6 months’ experience working within a school setting

  
  

• Confidence managing a classroom of students aged 11–16+

  
  

• Strong behaviour management skills to keep students engaged and on task

  
  

• Flexibility to work across different departments and year groups
