The Governors of Our Lady of Sion School seek to appoint a suitable candidate to fulfil the role of Headteacher. We are looking to appoint an ambitious and inspirational leader to build on the school’s successes and to progress Our Lady of Sion School into its next phase of growth and development whilst understanding, valuing and developing the school’s ethos and vision.

Our Lady of Sion School is an independent coeducational day school, with approximately 300pupils, aged 3-18 years, situated in Worthing, West Sussex. The school has a good academic record alongside a strong reputation for excellent pastoral care.

The Governors believe that this is an exciting opportunity for someone who will bring their own vision and aspirations to Our Lady of Sion School. What can be achieved in the future, whilst valuing its heritage and upholding its core ethos and vision?

The Headteacher will be able to demonstrate a strategic approach to policy and planning, management skills and business insight. They should bring experience of successful leadership in education to lead an experienced and committed Senior Leadership Team and Staff, and to command respect from the whole school community.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Governors and the Senior Leadership Team to prioritise the key strategic areas for the development of the School into the future and will provide clear and inspirational leadership to all, to ensure that the School’s strategic objectives are achieved.
