Job Title: Product Developer

About the Role
The Compleat Food Group is looking for a Product Developer to join our team in Bristol. In this role, you will develop new
products and adapt existing ones to meet customer and brand briefs, delivering commercial targets while ensuring products are
successfully scaled to production. You will build strong relationships internally and externally to deliver product launches on
time and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop products on time, to budget, and in line with customer and brand requirements.
* Support the innovation agenda, contributing ideas, scoping new projects, and participating in innovation sessions.
* Act as first point of contact for customers during development, building positive, proactive relationships.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure feasibility and compliance with company and customer strategies.
* Lead product presentations in feasibility meetings.
* Work with teams to resolve issues, ensuring concepts can be scaled and meet sustainability standards.
* Ensure product recipes meet food quality standards, commercial targets, and brand guidelines.
* Prepare and maintain accurate NPD documentation.
* Conduct benchmarking and present findings internally and externally.
* Stay informed on market trends and demonstrate passion for food innovation.
Person Specification
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a retail or FMCG product development role.
* Strong knowledge of the product launch process within FMCG.
* Excellent communication, planning, organisational, and project management skills.
* Strong analytical and numeracy skills with high attention to detail.
* Food-based degree desirable.
* Ability to provide intelligent solutions and work independently on recipe development.
